Lumora Nexus is the Foundation's official digital identity and verification system. Every representative — and every certificate and document we issue — carries a record anyone can check in seconds, with no account, directly against our live data.
The problem
As Lumora Foundation's work grew across borders, a practical question grew with it: how can a university, a ministry, a partner organisation, or a member of the public confirm that the person in front of them genuinely represents the Foundation?
For a foundation working in education, scholarships, human rights and international cooperation — where the first thing offered is trust — that gap matters.
Lumora Nexus closes the gap. Every official representative carries a credential anyone can check, at any time, against the Foundation's records as they stand at that moment.
The credential
Every representative is issued a unique, permanent Lumora ID — for example, LUM-EST-0001. The three letters mark the country of appointment; the number is issued in sequence. An ID belongs to one person and is never reissued to another.

All three lead to exactly the same page.
On their Lumora ID card, badge, or printed card — with any phone camera. No app required.
Hold it against a modern smartphone and the verification page opens by itself.

What you see
It is built from the Foundation's records at the moment it is opened — not a saved image, not a screenshot, and not editable by the person it describes.
When an appointment ends, the page changes immediately. No copy of it continues to show an active status afterwards.

Nexus is not limited to people. Training certificates awarded by the Foundation and official corporate documents each carry their own verification address — so a university, an employer, or a partner institution can confirm authenticity with us directly, instead of accepting a PDF at face value.
Who holds one
Roles and titles are assigned by the Foundation and recorded centrally. No one can grant themselves a role, a title, or an active status.
Behind sign-in
Verification is the public face of the system. Signed in, Nexus is where the Foundation's representatives work.
Data protection
Lumora Nexus is operated under Estonian and European Union data protection law.
Nexus shares no accounts, passwords, or database with this website. A visitor here is never signed in there.
A photograph appears only after the representative has explicitly agreed. Biography and contact details appear only if they choose to enter them — an empty field is simply not shown.
The email address and telephone number used to access an account are never displayed publicly — only the separate corporate contact details a representative chooses to publish.
Administrative accounts require two-factor authentication, and every administrative action is written to an audit log.
Individuals may request erasure of their personal data. The system carries this out irreversibly, while preserving the Foundation's anonymous institutional record.

Representatives sign in to manage their profile, documents, training and ID card. Anyone else can verify a representative without an account.
